Dash Rip Rock at The Broadway Oyster Bar on 08/29/98

Oh yeah, Dash outside on an awesome St. Louis night.
Zito opened and these guys are getting to be a local favorite.
They layed out a great set. They are always very respectful to
the band they are opening for. They even bought the Dash guys
several shots while they were playing. Dash got up and just
tore everyones head off! At one point Kyle the drummer got up
and stood on his bass drum and mooned everyone. Hoakey started
spraying his ass with beer. While some girl from the 
audience who was playing the tamborine, beat him on the butt 
with it! Now, if that isn't music at it's finest, I don't know
what is. I ended up staying until about 4 in the morning hanging
out drinking with the band. I don't know how they can do it.
Some of their new stuff is a little more commercial sounding.
That is okay, they have worked hard and deserve to make a few
bucks. Besides they are still the craziest band you will ever
see play. If you ever get a chance, see them. And have someone
spray your butt with beer!
