Dash Rip Rock at the Side Door on 12/19/97

What can you say? Dash Rip Rock is always incredible. They
were the opening band, and a little upset about it. They were
playing with the Bent Scepters. Both bands are great. I guess
it was a coin toss to see who would go on first. But the guys
in Dash were upset. They said they don't even get out of bed at
nine o'clock, let alone go onstage at that time. I talked with
Hoakie their bass player for awhile before the show. Just in-
credible guys. Great musicians. And more fun than you can shake
a stick at. If you are in the mood to drink a lot. Dash can 
inspire you to do that. I had to buy their drummer a shot of Jack
while they were playing. He was a little pissed at something I
yelled, cause he didn't hear me. Hoakie told him what I said, 
then he started laughing. Plus the shot helped!
