Gaza Strippers at The Galaxy on 09/25/01

The Dead Celebrities opened the show. I've heard that they are the best punk
band in St. Louis at the moment. I'd argue that point. Their set was okay. The
highlight of which was Iggy's "I got a Right." They need a second guitar player
to round out the sound, and add some lead work. Next up was Lofreak (sp?) also
a local band. I was pretty blown away. Great guitar sound, excellent rythym section.
The vocalist had killer scream for such a scrawny looking guy. 
Gaza Strippers finally came on. The sound was mush at first. You couldn't hear
the lead guitar parts and with this band that is about 3/4 of their playing.
After about three songs the sound guy got it mixed a bit better. You've seen the
other reviews, these guys kick and even after seeing them about every six or so
months, they are still amazing. Next to Nashville Pussy they are about the best
going! Anybody that wouldn't show up to see this needs their butt kicked!!!!
