Joan Jett at Tower Grove Park on 06/23/01

The face of Rock and Roll has many lines, wrinkles, scars, bumps and

lumps. It is so complex that not many know exactly what it looks like. However

Joan Jett is one of the few that does. She lives it, she plays it, and she

knows it! To see her do a free concert on a beautiful day outside was just

incredible. Not only did I end up singing along to every song, but everyone

within a couple miles was also. Ever since I was a kid listening to The

Runaways and seeing her on the Sports Superstars (or whatever it was called,)

until now, she has been amazing, and continues to kick ass like few can.

There are only a few in her league for good reason!
