Jimmy Thackery and The Drivers at The Broadway Oyster Bar on 09/06/01

As absolutely beautiful evening at the Oyster Bar. The weather was perfect, the band was hot.
Jimmy as usual showed he is one of the best guitar players going. And he has a band to back him
up that is as solid as can be. He has done a great job of melding new technologies into his
guitar setup. Running a Line 6 amp that allows him to create sounds you won't hear from
your regular blues guitarist. He pulls off effects that while very new, really do blend into
the old. Whenever Jimmy is in town, be there.
