Gaza Strippers and Supersuckers at Karma on 10/29/99

This was an amazing dose of straight in the face rock
and roll. The Gaza Strippers once again blew me away. They
play a dual guitar rock that you don't see much of any more.
Swapping leads back and forth, or playing harmony lines together.
All the while doing "rock god" poses and things like that. Great
songs and a very powerful band. Supersuckers came up next and
picked up where the G.S. left off. They do it very tongue in
cheek and have fun with it. All the while playing killer arena
style rock (thankfully not in an arena.) This was a great show
and if either of these bands come to your town run out and
get tickets ASAP.
