Tab Benoit and Duke Robillard at The Broadway Oyster Bar on 06/15/99

How could you go wrong with a line up like this? Especially
outdoor at the Oyster Bar? Duke came out first and actually
start out with a swing sound. He then got a little bluesy and
finished out with his jazz sound. Duke always seems to start
out real hot and just mellow through the whole set. Great stuff
though. Tab was up next and just came out scorching. He seemed
twice as hot as last time. The whole band is just a treat to
watch. They have been getting some notice having done a few
TV shows. This guy will probably be playing one of the larger
venues in town next time.
